   Résumé
   Bob Harris, acteur en perte de vitesse, entreprend un voyage d'affaires à Tokyo où il doit tourner dans un spot publicitaire. Délaissée par son mari photographe de mode, Charlotte passe la plupart de ses soirées dans le gigantesque bar de l'hôtel où elle va rencontrer Bob. Tout aussi désabusé qu'elle, ils sympathisent et prennent alors pour habitude de partager de longs moments au cours desquels ils se découvrent et font face à leur destinée. L'histoire d'une rencontre aussi émouvante que brève prend forme pour mieux se renforcer tout au long de leur périple dans la métropole. Un film décalé où la légèreté de ton s'acoquine avec une simplicité quasi évanescente.
